BENIK KART ADDS NEW DRIVER BEFORE BUSY THREE WEEK SCHEDULE

Entering a busy three week schedule, BENIK Kart continues to grow and gain momentum towards the remainder of the 2014 season. Adding a new driver and series to their program, company officials Nick Mitchell and Ben Cruttenden are pleased to welcome David Morales to the squad as they enter both the ROK Cup USA and Florida Winter Tour events. With all three events taking place at the Orlando Kart Center in Orlando, Florida, BENIK Kart will call the Orlando Kart Center home for the next thee weeks.

“We are very excited entering the busy month of March,” explained Nick Mitchell, Co-Founder of BENIK Kart. “The website has now been launched, we are closing one series while starting with another and we are adding new drivers. The momentum is currently in our favor and all the team drivers will be working hard to add race wins, podium results and pole positions to the BENIK Kart resume.”

The first weekend on the schedule will be the opening round of the ROK Cup USA. With a pair of drivers set to compete in the Vortex Mini Rok class, both Lachlan DeFrancesco and newcomer David Morales will battle a stout field of competitors. While Morales is new to the BENIK Kart squad, DeFrancesco is coming off a double pole position-winning event at the most recent rounds of the Florida Winter Tour.

DeFrancesco and Morales will be in the running the following week during the Formula Kart weekend of the Florida Winter Tour and will be joined by TaG Junior competitor Javier Gonzalez. The talented Mexican will look to carry the speed and results from his Ocala events into Orlando and top the podium blocks.

Closing out the three week schedule, five drivers will be present under the BENIK Kart tent as Derek Carmenate and recent Florida Winter Tour race winner Jo Nunez will join DeFrancesco, Morales and Gonzalez in Rotax powered karts. Entering the Rotax Mini Max division, DeFrancesco and Morales will join Carmenate in the hunt for race wins while Gonzalez will battle in the talent-laden Rotax Junior ranks. Jo Nunez will be back behind the wheel of his BENIK Kart in the Rotax Micro Max class as the five drivers look to close the Florida Winter Tour strong.

Ben Cruttenden, added, “The whole BENIK Kart program is really beginning to take off and it is very rewarding to see all the hard work finally paying off. We need to finish March strong and then shift our focus to the remainder of the season.”
