BENIK KART WINS RACES AND CHAMPIONSHIPS AT FLORIDA WINTER TOUR

It was another successful Cold Stone Florida Winter Tour (FWT) for the BENIK Kart squad. Competing in the ‘Sunshine State’ over the past three months, Team BENIK had nothing but success in the elite winter program. Claiming the Vortex Mini ROK championship with Jonny Edgar, Team BENIK was also successful in the Rotax Max Challenge program claiming multiple race wins throughout the first quarter of 2015.

“The success of the BENIK Kart can be seen across the board,” explained BENIK Kart Co-Founder Nick Mitchell. “We have managed to secure race wins, fast laps, pole positions and championships in several platforms of karting and on multiple tire brands which shows our product’s true diversity.”

Two weeks ago, Jonny Edgar claimed the Vortex Mini ROK championship. Trailing the overall points chase entering the final event weekend, Edgar played his cards perfectly and with his third place finish in the main event, secured the title. Edgar wasn’t the only successful BENIK Kart driver in the FWT ROK Cup USA Mini ROK class as the growing chassis brand secured five of the top-eight position in the overall championship points battle.

In the Vortex Micro ROK category, James Egozi managed to secure a third place result in overall series championship.

Fast forward to this past weekend, BENIK Kart drivers would exchange their Vortex ROK engines for Rotax MAX powerplants and be equally successful. In the Rotax Micro Max class, Diego LaRoque would secure the season finale event victory as once again, BENIK Kart had four drivers finishing in the top-six. Tyler Maxson, BENIK Kart newcomer, quickly adapted to his new ride showing speed throughout the weekend including claiming the prefinal victory while Luca Mars joined the team for the final event in Ocala and having never driven the Rotax engine or the Mojo tires, came home with a third place podium result.

Team BENIK will continue to showcase their product across the country. Competing at the United States Pro Kart Series, Superkarts! USA Pro Tour, ROK Cup USA as well as the Rotax Summer Shootout, United States Rotax Grand Nationals and the US Open programs.
