Continuing to win at the Rok Cup USA program, Bordogna Engines powered drivers continue to post strong results in the series running always at the front. Claiming sixteen heat race wins and six main event victories over the last two rounds at the Homestead Karting facility and 103rd Street Motorsports Complex, Bordogna Engines has been at the front of the field in several different Rok Cup classes.
“We are happy to see all our effort made at the shop with the dyno work reflected on the track in the Rok Cup USA program,” explained Daniel Bordogna. “Winning in Rok Shifter Senior, Rok Shifter Masters and Rok Junior, our engine development program continues to show that we are offering one of the best engine service program to all our customers.”
Bordogna Engines powered drivers have dominated the Rok Shifter program as four drivers have stood on the podium and continue to run at the front field. Four victories have come from Rok Shifter Senior and Rok Shifter Masters drivers AJ Myers (PCR) and Gonzalo Aponte (CRG). In the Rok Junior ranks, Luis Jose Forteza (Kosmic) has been the dominant driver and claimed all three main event victories in 2014. In the Rok senior Class, the rookie driver Franco Carabetta (TonyKart -International Racing Team), after only a couple weekends racing in the karting ranks showed strong promise, winning the prefinal and getting the fastest lap on the main event. This improving driver also got a podium in only his third race.
Yet to reach the top step of the podium in the Micro Rok division, Bordogna Engines powered drivers Darren Rackley and Lucas Rodriguez have shown speed running near the front of the field. With podium results to their credit, a race win is just around the corner in Micro Rok and these young drivers will do whatever it takes at the next round to score maximum points.
