ENERGY KART USA SET FOR US OPEN FINALE IN LAS VEGAS

The Grand Junction, Colorado based Energy Kart USA team will once again challenge for race wins, podiums and championships at the final round of the Sofina Foods US Open series next weekend. Promoted by MAXSpeed Entertainment and taking place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in in Las Vegas, Nevada, the talent-laden squad enters the event with an impressive line-up of 11 drivers set to battle in both Rotax and Shifter categories.

“We are heading into the series finale with more drivers than previous rounds, giving the team an even better shot of standing on the podium,” explained Stacey Cook, Owner of Energy Kart USA. “We will be working hard to earn strong results all weekend and claim the championships we are in contention for. We are looking forward to returning to Vegas as the atmosphere around the event is something that we live for.”

Energy Kart USA Senior Shifter driver Sabre Cook will head into Vegas in second place in the title chase. A strong run and a podium finish could put Cook at the top of the championship podium. She will be battling hard to take the title home, one that is deserved based on her talent and hard work. 

Hugh Templeman and Jet Davis will be competing in the Shifter Masters division. Davis is the current Colorado Sprint Championships Series Champion and is looking for strong results on the national circuit.  Templeman is currently third in the series point standings. A strong run in the finale for the Energy Kart USA driver will put him on the championship podium.

The team will have a strong presence in Rotax Micro Max with three drivers entered in the category - Braden Hindson, current Colorado Sprint Championships Series Champion, and rookies Dax Cothrun and Kabis Jacobs. Energy Kart USA driver Seth Cothrun will battle in the Rotax Mini Max category.

Rotax Masters Max will see Energy Kart USA driver Allen Moore and Chad Wallace set to take the field.

Luka Berazategui from Chili will make his Vegas debut in Rotax Junior running under Energy Kart USA program with assistance from Energy Kart North America and Darren White.

Kyle Dupell will be tough in the Rotax Senior field and be a serious threat to stand on the podium.
