JAKE KNEPPER SET FOR FLORIDA WINTER TOUR

Florida resident and Tony Kart pilot Jake Knepper is set embark on his first ever Formula Kart Productions Florida Winter Tour (FWT) program. Competing aboard a Tony Kart chassis, Knepper will see action in the talent-filled Rotax Mini Max division as he looks to gain experience in the premier series.

“Jake is really excited to get started this coming weekend,” explained father and mechanic Eric Knepper. “We have been practicing a lot with OGP and are ready for the task. We have great support in our team and think this will be a big step in the future of Jake’s racing.”

Knepper has been a fixture in regional level karting action throughout Florida and looks to take that experience into the Florida Winter Tour. Competing at the Ocala Gran Prix local program and North Florida Rotax Max Challenge series, Knepper has also run at the front of the field in the Florida Karting Championship Series.

With support from Inch X Inch, Hager Companies, Tarpon Towers Incorporated and Kozel Girls Inc., Knepper will travel south to the Homestead Karting facility on the grounds of the Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend for the first event in the three race Rotax series. With practice set to start midweek, Knepper will look to turn his speed and natural racecraft into a good qualifying effort on Friday afternoon. With wheel-to-wheel action set to start Saturday, Knepper will be battling with a talented field of competitors as he looks to stand atop the podium.
