With the Ontario racing season just around the corner, Ledson Motorsports has already claimed one title to start their 2014 efforts off right. Taking on drivers from across North America, 16-year-old Nicholas Ledson would earn the Winter Nationals Semi Pro championship while in Winter Haven, Florida earlier this year.

Contesting the tenth annual INEX/US Legends Car Winter Nationals at the Auburndale Speedway, Ledson Motorsports’ Nicholas Ledson led the charge and used consistency to attain the elusive championship title. Never finishing outside the top-four over the five features, Nicholas posted two seconds, one third and two fourth place results over the five-day event. Leading laps and making himself known, Nicholas captured the 2014 Semi Pro title as well as a lot of respect in the Legends racing ranks.

Set to again contest the Ontario Legends series, which will feature numerous more races than in 2013 as well as several doubleheaders, Ledson Motorsports will be busy laying down the laps in the 5/8-scale model car series. As the reigning Ontario Legends Champion, Nicholas will look to maintain his championship status while younger brother Cole will tackle his sophomore season in the car ranks. Time permitting, Ledson Motorsports will also travel to Erie Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania for more racing action, as well as one or two events in Michigan.

Ledson Motorsports has been busy turning laps, racking up track time and practicing on the heels of the Ontario Legends 2014 season opener this Saturday, May 17 at Peterborough Speedway. Getting their Ontario racing schedule underway, both Nicholas and Cole Ledson look to be at the front of the pack all season long.

Ledson Motorsports will also sponsor a race night Saturday, July 12 at Sunset Speedway in Innisfil, Ontario. Hosting a VIP tent for Cavalier Transportation Services employees and family, all Ledson Motorsports sponsors are also welcome to attend.
