PEICHEL JOINS MDD F4 PROGRAM

Max Peichel has signed on to Jay Howard’s Motorsports Driver Development program (MDD) in the F4 series for 2017. F4 is an entry series that allows drivers from disciplines like karting to move up to open wheel racing at a lower cost than other series that North America has to offer. MDD launched their F4 program earlier this year, with Peichel etching his signature as one of the drivers in the much anticipated MDD program. Running a full schedule in 2017, the young competitor plans to run the full season of the F4 program, as well as two full series in the MDD karting program.

Max Peichel first joined MDD through the karting ranks this fall at the prestigious SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals in Las Vegas, Nevada. He ran in the top-ten throughout the event in the X30 Junior category, demonstrating consistent skill and speed. These results, along with past successes in his karting history, encouraged the young driver to move to the next level of racing. Adding open wheel racing to his current karting schedule, as well as receiving mentorship and training from Jay Howard, will allow Peichel to improve his race craft and add another form or racing to his resume.

"I am really happy to have Max transition into F4,” says MDD team owner Jay Howard.  “Max will race a full season of F4 and also race WKA Man Cup and SKUSA Pro Tour with MDD. This is a great combination of karting and cars for any driver. I'm excited about having Max onboard for the 2017 season".
