SEVE DEPINTO FINISHES SEASON STRONG AND LOOKS TOWARDS 2014

With the start of the 2014 karting season on the horizon, Floridian karter Seve DePinto is primed and ready for his run at multiple championships. Prepping for a strong season in the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup, Florida Karting Championship Series (FKCS) and several other events across the eastern half of the United States, DePinto will begin his quest December 28-30 at the WKA Daytona Kartweek event on the grounds of the famed Daytona International Speedway.

“I am really excited to get started in 2014,” explained DePinto from his home in South Florida. “2013 was my rookie year in junior and a good learning year. I now know what is needed to run at the front of the junior ranks and am working hard to ensure success.”

Moving to the junior ranks at the beginning of 2013, DePinto endured the rookie blues as it was a tough to gain the results in his new class. Showing speed week in and week out, DePinto continued to work hard and began to achieve success. Ending the season with a solid third place run in the FKCS TaG Junior points battle and claiming the top honors in the IAME X30 Nationals, the DR Kart pilot began to show his true prowess.

With his IAME X30 title, Seve DePinto was awarded an invitation to the IAME Grand Finals in Lyon, France where he gained years of experience in one week of racing that he will look to put to good use in 2014.

DePinto is no stranger to the front of the field. In 2012, the future motorsports star claimed a pair of Florida Karting Championship Series titles topping the blocks in Cadet Sportsman and Mini Rok. With his winning attitude, results and experience over the last twelve months, DePinto is on the rise and has major goals set for 2014 and beyond.

DePinto continued, “A big thank you goes out to everyone at TS Racing for all of the team support and DR Racing Karts out of Italy.”

With the WKA Manufacturers event just around the corner, DePinto will see action in the new IAME TaG Junior division. Looking to improve on his front row qualifying position and third place result that last time he raced in Daytona, DePinto will hit the track December 28th for official practice before wheel-to-wheel action commences December 29th and 30th.
