TEAM KOENE USA WELCOMES JAMES EGOZI TO THE SQUAD

As one of the youngest drivers on the national circuit, eight year-old James Egozi is set to join Team Koene USA, one of the largest and most successful karting programs in North America. Looking to elevate his program to the next level, Egozi will join the Indianapolis, Indiana based squad for his first event at the upcoming Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SummerNationals at New Castle Motorsports Park (NCMP) before continuing his quest for race wins and podium results in multiple different series.

“James is one of the young drivers that is on the edge of a breakthrough and with the help and support of Team Koene USA, he will be a fixture at the front of the field for years to come,” explained Team Principal Mike Maurini. “We are excited to have him in our program for the remainder of the 2016 season and onwards into 2017.”

Starting his tenure with Team Koene USA at the SKUSA SummerNationals in the IAME Mini Swift class, Egozi will also see competition at the upcoming United States Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Nationals in Rotax Micro MAX before closing out his season at the US Open and SKUSA SuperNationals, both in Las Vegas, Nevada. The young Egozi will also see action in select ROK Cup USA events as he begins his preparations for a strong 2017 race season.
