With the addition of new sponsors and escalating support from registrants, the United States Rally Kart Association (USRKA) is gearing up for their first event. September 13th will mark the first ever US Open of Dirt, a race to truly tell the best from the rest in asphalt sprint karting. Drivers will use their regular karts and engines and will compete on a road course format, with a bit of a twist…on dirt.

Registration for this exciting event is now open, and will be offering LO206, Yamaha Senior, Yamaha Junior, TaG Senior and TaG Junior classes at the US 41 Speedway in Lake Village, Indiana. The event has now also partnered with Bridgestone Tires, which will be available for purchase next to registration. Tires will be required to be purchased at the race in order to keep the playing field level.

With support from big sponsors, throughout each class and for the event as a whole, the US Open of Dirt is promising a very serious production. The race will be drawing many drivers from throughout the racing industry, including IndyCar drivers and top karting teams. This event is not one to miss out on, and will surely provide the competition and fun it promises for years to come.
